How UKCalc collects, uses and protects your data.
UKCalc (accessible at www.ukcalc.uk) is a free UK financial calculator platform. We provide tools for estimating take-home pay, tax, stamp duty, mortgage affordability and more.
For the purposes of this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to UKCalc. If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please contact us.
When you use our calculators, you enter figures such as salary amounts, property prices or pension contributions. This data is processed entirely in your browser and is never sent to our servers. We do not store, log or transmit any figures you enter into our tools.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, how long people spend on each page, and how they navigate between pages. This helps us improve the tools and identify errors.
Analytics data is anonymised and aggregated. We do not track individual users. Data collected by Google Analytics includes: pages visited, approximate geographic region (country/region level only), device type, browser, and referring website. IP addresses are anonymised before being stored.
Google Analytics operates under Google's own privacy policy. We have configured GA4 to comply with UK GDPR requirements, including IP anonymisation and data retention limits. Where your consent is required for analytics cookies under applicable law, we obtain it via our cookie consent notice.
If you submit our contact form, we collect the name, email address and message you provide. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not shared with third parties, used for marketing, or retained beyond the period needed to resolve your query.
We use cookies for analytics and advertising purposes. See our Cookie Policy for full details of what cookies are set and how to manage them.
UKCalc is funded by display advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements on this site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
Consent: Advertising cookies require your consent under UK GDPR. We present a cookie consent notice on your first visit. If you do not consent, non-personalised advertising may still be shown, but Google will not use your data to personalise ads. You can change your preferences at any time by clearing cookies and revisiting the site.
You may opt out of personalised advertising at any time by visiting Google's Ads Settings or by visiting aboutads.info.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
